Award Recipients

En junio de 2007, la Cooperativa Latina le otorgó becas a cuatro estudiantes destacados hispanos que viven en Carolina del Norte a tgravés del fondo de becas  LCCU Scholarship Fund. Los recipientes son:

• Sebastián Cerdeña (peruano), UNC Chapel Hill, entering first year this fall, received $4,000. He wants to be a medical doctor.
• Ignacio Cerdeña (peruano), UNC Chapel Hill, entering first year this fall, received $4000. He wants to be a medical doctor or engineer.
• Diana Rodríguez, NC State, entering first year this fall, received $1000. She wants to study psychology and sociology
• Jaime Alberto Zea, UNC Chapel Hill, entering second year this fall, received $1,000. He wants to be a journalist

The four students all reached an exceptional level of academic achievement, are highly involved in their communities, and received outstanding recommendations from their teachers.
